Effective January 1, 2010 The Fulton State Bank will opt out of the Transaction Account Guarantee (TAG) program.  Non-interest bearing transaction accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full (unlimited) under the Transaction Account Guarantee program, but will be insured up to $250,000.00 under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC's) general insurance rules.
